Vintage hand-tooled leather jewelry box from Mexico, with the Aztec Sun Stone calendar and a warrior worked in deep relief across the lid. Geometric and basketweave borders frame the sides, and the interior is lined in burgundy velvet with a removable divided tray. Hinged lid with a leather tab closure. Idea as a catch-all for jewelry, watches, or small treasures. Perfect on a dresser in a Hacienda-style interior, or styled with leather-bound books on a study shelf.
