Aegitna was founded in 1920 by Placide Saltalamacchia and is one of the earliest workshops in Vallauris, recognized for its traditional Provençal terre vernissée glazes. Marked Aegitna Vallauris Made in France on the underside. Lovely as a small serving dish or displayed on its own as a sculptural piece of French pottery.
